The biggest thing I can remember about this brand shoot was how bloody hot it was. The light was epic though and the brilliant Laura Stanley AKA Laura May Photography handled it like a trooper. I always love working with other photographers. They know the power of great portraits for showing up with and that’s exactly what Laura wanted.

I connected with Laura because she did my brand photography course and she is an incredibly talented photographer herself. So I was immensely flattered that she wanted me to do her brand photos.

We started at the Barbican in East London to grab some quick “working” shots in the cafe there which is always a great space for this as long as it isn’t too busy. We then went for a wander around the Barbican to take some portraits. This place always blows me away with it’s light and shadows.

After we headed into Shoreditch making the most of shade and back lighting while trying not to sweat too much. We had a lot of fun and I love the walking element of how I work as it’s a great way to help people relax and build connection.
