A personal brand photo shoot with Alicja from Twins in my Kitchen.
So many brand shoots and not enough time to blog them all. I really do get to work with some wonderful humans so it is always a joy when I find time to blog to go back over our shoot together. I especially love working with other creatives and those who work in food because that also means great shoot snacks!
Alicja is a food stylist and recipe developer which also makes her a very talented food photographer in her own right. She wanted some new brand photos to authentically show her at work as well as some great portraits. I was very happy to help.
Alicja is Twins in my Kitchen on Instagram because she loves to create food with her twin girls so it was also important to include them in the shoot as well.
We did everything at her home in Putney so we could keep it authentic to Alicja’s business and how she works. The other thing with food is that it’s messy and can be quite chaotic to work with, especially when it comes to styling. It’s still a lot of fun though!
I also really loved the light in Alicja’s home. That gorgeous moody feel from quality window light and a slightly darker decor works so well. After we did everything at home we headed out for a walk around Putney and the river to capture some portraits.
