London brand photographer with Megan from intrinsic, the mindful approach

I absolutely loved this shoot. Autumn and then Winter are my favourite months and actually while I was going through these images I started to get that familiar feeling I get in my body towards this time of year. Cold snowy days with beautiful light are one of my deepest loves. They just bring me so much joy and so doing Megan’s shoot on one of those days makes this shoot a bit special for me.

Megan is a career and transformational life coach and she created her company Intrinsic so she can help people figure out their purpose, who they really are and what they want from life. Megan has lived a life, from building up a successful business with 30 employees to raising 2 children. Now she is focused on helping others build lives they want to live. From being qualified in NLP to career counselling, Megan has lots of tools in her bag to work with.

Megan booked in for my full day package and we started this snowy day at Shutterhouse Studios in Barnet as Megan wanted a good selection of working lifestyle images such as with her laptop, doing some journalling and meditating. Having the studio for a couple of hours also meant an opportunity get creative indoors.

We then headed out into the world with the destination being Hampstead Heath. This involved a tube and a bit of a walk but I always enjoy the time to do this with a client as I get to know them better and more often than not we wind up putting the world to rights.

Once we hit the heath the good light was flooding in and I LOVE all the image we took, including the one in the public loo because light makes everything magnificent. We walked across the heath in the snow with so many magical opportunities for photos. Winter is always my favourite time to capture images and it’s a shame I am currently fully booked until May 24 otherwise I would have loved a few more opportunities like this one.
