A brand photo shoot in Kent with Marina from Faversham Strings.
On the blog today I have beautiful and talented Marina who is Faversham Strings!
I was asked to do these brand photos by Lucy from Mad Creative Design who is the brilliance behind Marina’s brand.
I always love doing brand photography for makers and craftspeople so to get to spend a couple of hours with someone who repairs string instruments was great fun.
Personally myself I have never been talented with music, in fact pretty terrible so I am always in awe of those who can play. There is something amazing about music and despite my inability to play any it still plays a big part in my life. Getting to hear Marina play her Cello was an absolute pleasure.
I photographed the details of her workspace as well. I always find the spaces people create for themselves to work in so interesting. These small details can really tell a story of both a person and a business so capturing them to use as content is a big part of my work.
As well as getting photos of Marina working and her space we also headed out on to the beautiful streets of Faversham for some portraits. With Marina being a local business it was really important that we used the backdrop of her town for these and Faversham is a seriously lovely market town in Kent so we weren’t sort on ideas.
I love the photos from this session and I loved working with Marina. If you want to follow her then you can find her in places below…
